THE GARAGE - The Ground Floor

Constructed in 1997, The Garage provides a home for two cars, a chest freezer and storage of garden equipment and other tools. The overhead door from the paved driveway is electrically operated. The entry doors from the Kitchen Garden and from The Workshop allow convenient additional access. Custom designed light fixtures, located on the outside of the building, are computer controlled and can be activated remotely from the house. A pull-down staircase in one of the car bays leads to the second floor of The Garage. Click here for photos and details.

THE GARAGE - The Workshop

The Workshop boasts large light fixtures and a size adequate for woodworking or home repair activities. A library-ladder leads from the Workshop to the second floor. Click here for photos and details.

THE GARAGE - The Second Floor

The second floor of the Garage is an insulated, finished "bonus room" (about 20x10 feet) with double-hung windows and electric heat. We currently use it as the home for our model trains. Click here for photos and details.
