What's in a name? It may be cliche but a friend once suggested that our home should have a name. Other homes in La Honda have had names. Some names are whimsical like "Moldy Zucchini". Some are elegant like "Villa Rica". Others are descriptive like "Sunflower Hill" and some are emotional like "My Blue Heaven". Researching through the history of La Honda, both oral and written, we have found that our home has been named several times. Through the years, it has been called "Giant Redwood", "Big Pink", "First Aid Lady's House", and the "Governor's Mansion". We, however, just like to call it "Our Home".
