We have been told that throughout much of
the 74 year history of our La Honda home, a diary was kept. This diary had been passed
from owner to owner and various entries had been made to record the life of the
house and the lives of its owners. Unfortunately, somewhere in the 1980's the
diary was lost. As such, as we prepare to turn Our Home over to its next
owners, we are starting a new diary, in a new, electronic format. It is our
hope that this diary will remain with the house as it enjoys its next 74
years.
We have chosen to present our diary by topic rather than by
