Fiji, 2000

These are the photos from our second trip to Matana Beach Resort (Dive Kadavu) on Kadavu, Fiji. This trip was delayed for four months due to some political unrest in Fiji that never touched Kadavu itself. Matana Beach Resort is truly an island paradise where we are always well cared for and made to feel like a member of a family rather than a resort guest.

Feather stars. The tentacles reaching out to feed	Still more soft coral	There are sea fans (that are hard coral)	And shoals of fish
Button corals grow next to sea fans and soft corals	Soft corals are killed by the touch of a finger or of a swim fin.	There are more sea anemones.	And more anemone fish

And the sea and the sand		The People of Matana Beach	In the evening, staff and villagers gather to sing
