Los Islotes &

Isla Espiritu Santo

Early this morning, we will set anchor at the small rocky islets known as Los Islotes, with its seabird nesting colony and California sea lion haul-out. If sea conditions permit, we’ll offer snorkeling and two rounds of Zodiac cruises, each lasting about 45 minutes. We hope to anchor a Zodiac with a large ladder, and offer snorkeling with the sea lions if weather permits. Keep your binoculars and cameras nearby for some great looks at blue-footed and brown boobies, brown pelicans, yellow-footed gulls and California sea lions later in the morning on our Zodiac cruise.

Shortly after our morning activities, we will head south where we will anchor at Bahia Bonanza, on the southern end of Isla Espiritu Santo to offer Zodiac shuttles to shore for more hikes and kayaking. This anchorage offers another beautiful, long sandy beach, as well as another opportunity to explore this pristine desert environment. You can choose to join a guided hike, or explore this long, pristine beach on your own.
